By Zodiac you will be transferred from the cruise ship pier to the Samur. You will set sail and glide smoothly under red sail to the beach of the uninhabited island of Klein Bonaire. During the sail the Captain will give information about the conditions at the reef (which creatures you will find) and the story about the Siamese Sailing Junk. Our first stop will be at the historical Bull's eye - this site was used by the United States Air Force during World War II for bombing practice purposes. From our truck, you will have a birds eye view of this enormous training target. Next, we will visit the Bos di San Antonio Cave. Here, you will discover the different shapes and sizes of the impressive stalagmites and stalactites in this cave. After this stop we will drive past the enormous wind turbines that supply electricity to the island. Leaving the Curaçao desert, you will continue to Shete Boka National Park. The windier and rougher the weather, the better the show over here. Watch in awe as the waves explode on wild rock formations at Boka Tabla and view the startling spectacle that forms when waves get pushed through a narrow inlet at Boka Pistol. On your way back you will also pass by a flamingo habitat at the salt flats of Sint Michiel, where you might spot some flamingos from the truck.
